Inside Our NAID AAA Certified Facility in Nashville

Many of our customers use facility-based shredding. Material collected for plant-based destruction comes to 1741 Elm Hill Pike, where it’s destroyed under a documented process.

What Happens When Your Paper Arrives

1. Secure arrival. Material arrives in our fully enclosed, locked vehicles or through drop-off.
2. First shred. Paper is unloaded and pushed into a pit that feeds the shredding system. The first pass reduces it to about 1½ inches so large volumes move through efficiently.
3. Second shred. A second shredder reduces it again to about ⅝ inch.
4. Baling and direct shipment. Shredded paper is compressed into bales and shipped directly to paper mills. Each outbound load is assigned control numbers, and we receive confirmation when the mill receives it.
5. Certificate of Destruction. After each completed destruction, a Certificate of Destruction is emailed automatically to the contact on file.

All shredded paper is sent to a paper mill for recycling. Electronics and other remnants go through approved downstream recycling routes.

Hard Drive, Media and Product Destruction

Hard drives, SSDs, other media and products are destroyed here at our Nashville facility, under our NAID AAA Facility-based Operation Endorsement. Hard drives are crushed with 20,000 lbs of conical force that destroys the spindle and platters. Solid-state drives are physically destroyed using a method suited to flash media. Built for Large Projects

Our industrial equipment is designed for volume. One of the shredders we still run today was originally purchased for a single customer’s 60,000-box purge, and we’ve since added equipment to increase capacity.

Witnessed Destruction

Witnessed destruction at our Nashville facility can be arranged in advance. Walk-in drop-off customers can watch their paper being shredded.

Drop-Off Shredding

• Hours: Monday–Thursday 9 a.m.–4 p.m., Friday 9 a.m.–2 p.m. No appointment needed.
• Payment: Credit or debit card only.
• Please keep paper separate from electronics and media.
• Arriving: Enter at Gate 1. If the gate is closed, dial 001 on the call box, then make an immediate left to Dock 1.

What We Can’t Process

Hazardous materials, liquids, food products, and anything that could damage equipment or create a safety issue. Batteries aren’t shredded. Let us know about devices with batteries when you book. Damaged or swollen batteries need approval before pickup.
